About the programme
Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology focuses on the research, design, manufacture, operation and maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment. Its three main specialisations are automation, microcontrollers and IoT (Internet of Things).
The programme combines theory with practice, giving students a firm grasp of electrical circuits, electronic components, control systems and microprocessors, together with skills in assembly, repair, programming and system operation. Students learn through laboratory experiments, major assignments, projects that run from design and fabrication to operation and maintenance, and visits to factories, plants and research centres; they design and simulate in AutoCAD, MATLAB, Proteus and LabVIEW.
In Vietnam, demand for electrical and electronic engineers remains high: leading technology corporations are expanding their investment, turning Vietnam into a major electronics manufacturing hub in the ASEAN region.
